Four Ways Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to support enterprise network infrastructure, network access control, software-defined networking, and security initiatives. This position is ideal for professionals with strong Cisco expertise who can design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize complex enterprise network environments.

Job Description

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing enterprise networking environments across campus, wireless, security, and software-defined architectures. The role requires strong expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Network Access Control (NAC), wireless networking, routing and switching, network automation, and software-defined access solutions.

You will work closely with infrastructure, security, operations, and architecture teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure network services while supporting ongoing modernization and automation initiatives. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a hands-on engineering approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise Cisco networking solutions.
  • Manage and optimize Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) environments.
  • Implement and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) architectures.
  • Configure and troubleshoot 802.1X authentication and authorization solutions.
  • Deploy and support Cisco Catalyst 9000 series switching platforms.
  • Manage enterprise wireless networking environments and Cisco wireless solutions.
  • Design and support routing environments using OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
  • Implement and maintain Cisco DNA Center solutions.
  • Support Software-Defined Access (SDA) deployments and operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues.
  • Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support network security initiatives and access control frameworks.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of enterprise networking experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
  • Expertise in Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of 802.1X authentication technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco Wireless networks and controllers.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst 9000 series switches.
  • Advanced routing experience with OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
  • Experience with Cisco DNA Center.
  • Knowledge of Software-Defined Access (SDA) architectures.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and access control.
  • Experience with enterprise network automation technologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Cisco ISE deployment and migration project experience.
  • Experience with Cisco SD-WAN environments.
