IT Site Ops Senior Technician

We are seeking an IT Site Ops Senior Technician to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, local site technology, and lab environments. You will serve as the senior technical point of contact for escalations, system provisioning, hardware break/fix, and local operational continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee site IT operations, ensuring high availability and system reliability across office and lab infrastructure.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on hardware, OS, and local network issues.
• Provision, deploy, and maintain desktop/server systems, workspace setups, and network peripherals.
• Manage local hardware inventory, vendor coordination, and asset lifecycle tracking.
• Partner with engineering teams to resolve complex IT tickets and support local lab environments.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and mentor junior site support technicians.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT site operations, desktop support, or system administration in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, Wi-Fi).
• Proven experience managing hardware break/fix, AV equipment, and local IT inventory systems.
• Strong customer-first attitude with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
