Software Quality Assurance Engineer

• Work alongside a Dev Ops team on the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program, part of the Navy's Tomahawk Missile program
• Help automate installation of a complex system across multiple hardware configurations and releases
• Validate and test installation and deployment updates before deployment
• Perform installations and verify deployment changes in development/test environments
• Test deployment media before release for installation on TMPC systems and delivery to the customer
• Develop and execute tests for deployment strategy and media across multiple TMPC releases
• Verify updates to Installation and Setup Procedures for deployment implementation changes
• Report test findings and document new errors according to team/project conventions
• Understand TMPC hardware configurations and applications/capabilities for each configuration
• Understand evolving deployment requirements for each TMPC configuration
• Provide or validate estimates for assigned tasks
• Follow program processes and procedures
• Contribute to team/project standards and conventions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning and Daily Stand-up

• 8 years with BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one
• 5 years of manual testing experience
• Experience with Dev Ops implementation or test strategies
• Strong analytical and IT skills
• Experience with virtualized environments, Microsoft Windows, and Red Hat Linux
• Knowledge of Ansible and Keycloak preferred
• Familiarity with Dev Ops tools, including Azure Dev Ops
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to learn and follow complex processes and procedures
• Initiative, adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies

Demonstrates expertise in manual testing, deployment strategies, and Dev Ops implementation within complex systems, particularly in the context of the Navy's Tomahawk Missile program. Proficient in validating and testing installation processes across various hardware configurations while adhering to established program standards.
