Job Description We are seeking a Field Technical Support Consultant II to join our team supporting HP PC and Printer break/fix services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in field hardware diagnosis and repair across laptops, desktops, RPOS, workstations, and printers and a proven ability to resolve onsite incidents, educate customers, and manage critical service events within contractual and budget parameters.

Responsibilities:
Perform onsite break/fix services for HP laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstation products, with printer support as needed. Configure hardware, software, and simple network components and complete unit installations and repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues, including third-party software, networks, and switches when applicable. Collaborate with escalation personnel to execute action plans that remediate PC and printer issues. Educate customers on technology use and set clear expectations while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and document work with attention to administrative requirements. Apply sound business judgment to balance customer needs with HP contractual and financial commitments. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Proven technical and mechanical hardware repair experience for PCs and peripherals. Mechanical aptitude with proficiency using hand tools and alignment apparatus. Strong troubleshooting skills for printers and PC hardware, with ability to address basic networking and third-party software issues. Effective verbal and written communication skills in onsite, customer-facing settings. Ability to prioritize, plan, and work independently while meeting administrative obligations. Understanding of business and financial impacts related to service delivery.

Physical ability to bend, crawl, stoop, sit, and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime, holidays, and shift work. High school diploma or equivalent with additional hardware technology training. College preferred. Preferred

Skills:

Experience with HP printer repair and calibration. Familiarity with service management workflows and escalation practices. Additional Details:
