As a manager for tools & build within the Data Processing Unit (DPU) group, you will be leading a team that provides services to multiple other teams within our organization.

Your role will require you to leverage your strong planning, technical, and inter-group relationship management skills. You will be responsible for strategic planning, managing relationships across teams, and understanding the technical aspects of the services provided by your team. Your ability to set and meet aggressive deadlines, manage and develop high performing teams, and anticipate and proactively mitigate potential issues will be key to your success.

Your excellent communication skills will be essential in effectively communicating your team’s plans, expectations, and performance metrics across all levels of the organization. We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager - Build and Tools to join the team.#SCHIEResponsibilities

Own the strategy and roadmap for the DPU developer productivity infrastructure Drive availability and readiness of pre-silicon and early-silicon development environments Lead delivery and operational excellence of the DPU Tools and Build ecosystem Build strong partnerships across Microsoft engineering organizations Establish and track measurable productivity goals such as build latency, test throughput, onboarding time Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screening:  Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position is required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
