Role and LocationThe Plan Projects Lead is a full-time, hybrid role located in Santa Clara, CA, with an expectation of being in the office 3+ days per week. Irvine, CA may be considered.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Plan Project Lead across multiple planning projects (e.g., New Product Introductions, Life-cycle Management) and programs, owning scope, schedule, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
- Design and use analytical tools to support issue resolution, scenario planning, decision making, and execution oversight.
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure end-to-end variant flow is set up and maintained for Master Production Schedule (MPS) and/or component planning based on readiness and approvals.
- Provide Last Time Buy/Build, SLOB, and phase in/out analyses for smooth transition planning and execution.
- Maintain planning system parameters for projects, including phase in/out inventory management and safety stock transitions.
- Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, including updates in Supply Review and Management Business Review (M ).
- Lead Windchill PLAN processes and support ECO/CN execution for Global Plan; manage Multivariant SOP forms and Windchill procedures.
- Oversee ECO Parts Disposition for PLAN; contribute to IBP for planning projects as needed.
- Analyze large data sets to identify abnormalities with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Other duties and projects as needed to support planning initiatives.
- Education:
BS/BA in Supply Chain or related field preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, or Project Management; at least 4 years in supply chain planning (supply, network, E2E, NPI). - ERP experience with MRP planning; strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
- Strong project management, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leadership.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Desirable: SAP experience (S4/HANA), data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau), Six Sigma/Green Belt, PMP training.
Up to 10% travel domestically and internationally if located in Santa Clara, CA. If located at an alternate location, travel may be up to 25%.
