Project Manager - Marketing/Event Management - CTH - Hybrid (Multiple Locations)
As a key member of a dynamic and energetic Server Technology Marketing team, you will be responsible for project and Industry events and tracking all marketing content and collateral.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering successful events and managing content and collateral projects from start to finish. You will work closely with internal teams across product management, public relations, corporate, regional marketing/legal - as well as external creative teams, and vendors to ensure that deadlines are met, and every project exceeds expectations. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be essential in this role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project or Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of total experience in the relevant industry.
- 2-4 + years of proven experience as a Marketing and Events Management project manager.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools Microsoft Project.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of server technology and industry trends is a plus but not required.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their objectives, develop project plans, and set clear goals and milestones.
- Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, ensuring that events and content projects are executed within budgetary constraints.
- Vendor Coordination: Identify and negotiate with vendors and oversee vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Content Development: Work with the content team to ensure the content aligns with the stakeholder's vision and is delivered on time.
- Timeline Management: Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Communication
:
Regularly update stakeholders and management, address their concerns, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. - Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address issues as they arise.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess project success, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
