Sheetmetal Estimator

Since 2005, Hitech Metal Fab, Inc. has been assisting customers with precision sheet metal, CNC machining, plating, painting, and assemblies. We specialize in fabricating medical equipment, chassis, semiconductors, electrical boxes, and more. Utilizing the latest technology in precision sheet metal fabrication, we provide innovative solutions for our customers' most challenging projects.

This is a full-time, on‑site role for a Sheet metal Estimator located in Santa Clara, CA. The Sheet metal Estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints and specifications, preparing cost estimates for materials and labor, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves producing project timelines, working closely with engineering and production teams, and managing multiple estimates concurrently.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience in cost estimation and preparing detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and related processes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and suppliers
• Proficiency with estimation software (MIE-TRAK and Paperless Parts)
• A background in manufacturing or engineering, especially related to sheet metal fabrication, is beneficial
