Machine Operator

Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Machine Operator I for a family-owned custom shipping company located in Santa Clara, CA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering an hourly pay rate of $18.20. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

• Assists operators in setting up machines, including but not limited to slotting knives, heads, feed section, print plates, and die-cut tooling.
• Helps with mounting printing plates and cutting dies.
• Inks the machine and uses chemicals to adjust ink properties, and cleans printing plates.
• Feeds corrugated sheets.
• Cuts strapping from corrugated bales.
• Lifts pallets.
• Assists in cleaning the machine.
• Maintains a clean work area at all times.
• Handles chemicals such as cold glue, silicone spray, water-based flexographic ink, pH adjuster, Antifoam, and Myer Ameri-clear.

• Must have good communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills are needed.
• Experience with machinery is a plus.

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

The position offers an hourly pay rate of $18.20.
