Position OverviewWe are searching for the best talent for a Sr. Project Manager, Systems position. This position may be located in Santa Clara, CA, or Cincinnati, OH.
Job DescriptionAs a Sr. Project Manager, Systems, you will play a central role in delivering the next generation of the Ottava surgical robotics platform by orchestrating documentation release, safety and risk management, and change control for the entire system.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the release of all documents required for System-level Phase Design Reviews and regulatory submissions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive deliverable roadmap that enables a clear view of deliverable dependencies.
- Establish processes, templates, and dashboards, and metrics to ensure clear communication and consistency across teams.
- Develop, release, and manage safety, risk and risk profiles at the system level.
- Chair Ottava’s safety- and risk‑related governance forums including defect review board, risk management board, and cross‑functional safety reviews.
- Own Change Control and Configuration Management at the system level.
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager or equivalent in complex, multi-project or multi-system environments, is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is required. A degree in engineering, medicine, or another technical discipline is appreciated but not required.
- Professional experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or defense is required.
- Formal professional experience in a mix of lifecycle management, safety and risk management, and document control, is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling tools is preferred.
- Experience using Airtable and/or Atlassian tools is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally between sites (up to 10%)
