Chemical Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Chemical Technician for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidates will perform chemical top-offs and inventory management while documenting all activities accurately to ensure seamless continuity between shifts.

Note:
Swing shift: 2 pm - 10:30 pm

Rate Range: $50/hour to $ 52 /hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Chemical Technician job responsibilities include:

• Perform chemical top-offs, repours, tank draining, and other tasks to maintain proper chemical system levels during wafer fabrication.
• Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials in full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Track and respond to daily, weekly, and on-demand chemical or operations requests from production teams.
• Accurately document all activities and chemical data using MES, SPC charts, and designated software tools.
• Manage chemical inventory, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and availability of materials.
• Communicate effectively across shifts to maintain continuity of laboratory and fabrication operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience handling chemicals in wafer fabrication or semiconductor manufacturing
• Strong proficiency with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and data documentation tools.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $52.00 per hour
