As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment to build and test our multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment that’s behind the technology we use every day. You'll be responsible for building, repairing, and testing various types of equipment--including electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components. You will perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs-- and perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available and inspected for defects.

Using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps you'll test assemblies, complete documentation, perform repairs, or install software to continuously improve our processes.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll work in a cleanroom environment to process critical chamber components that are installed in our multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment that’s behind the technology we use every day. You will perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs- and perform inspections to ensure parts and assemblies are free of defects. Using test fixtures, electronic and optical measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps you'll test assemblies, complete documentation, and perform repairs.

Role Responsibilities
  • Clean and process critical chamber components in a cleanroom environment
  • Use optical and electric metrology tools to measure parts and sub-assemblies
  • Receive parts and perform cosmetic and optical inspections to ensure parts are free of defects
  • Work closely with engineers to conduct root cause analysis and development corrective actions of product quality excursions
  • Work closely with engineering on developing and proposing new fixtures, processes, and procedures to improve production quality and efficiency
  • Use work orders (including schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions) to repair and/or test equipment of various kinds (electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components)
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of vacuum and optical systems
  • Participate in a wide variety of electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs
  • Use test fixtures, electronic and optical measurement equipment, leak detectors to test assemblies, subassemblies, and components
  • Complete required job documentation (data entry) about progress; perform computer programming, repair, or software installs, as needed
  • Provide training and support to lower-level technicians; assist supervisor in aligning resources for daily production needs
  • Serve as a Quality Lead for processes, as needed; assist with quality issues and provide feedback to improve manufacturing processes
Minimum Qualifications
  • An associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree preferred
