Akkodis is seeking a Assembly Technician for a contract job in Santa Clara, California, United States, Onsite

Pay Range: $24/hr - $25/hr on W2

(The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support production and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production support within a manufacturing environment. Candidates with backgrounds as Build Technicians, Assembly Technicians, Manufacturing Technicians, or Shop Floor experience are preferred

Key Responsibility

  • Perform assembly of mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical components according to work instructions and engineering specificaties
  • Knowledge of quality systems, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and production process
  • Conduct testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of products and assemblies to ensure quality and functionality
  • Support day-to-day production operations
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing and assembly issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate production, testing, and quality record
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and efficieency
  • Assist with equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and production support activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality

Required Qualification

  • High school diploma or Associate Degree, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or shop floor environment
  • Hands-on experience in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production support
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures
  • .Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
