. You'll machine complex, tight-tolerance components for the
aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and medical industries
while working in a shop that invests in technology, high-quality equipment, and skilled machinists.

We're looking for setup machinists who can confidently own the entire setup process - from reading blueprints and G-code to loading tooling, setting offsets, proving out first articles, and making machine-side program adjustments before releasing jobs into production.

Compensation
  • $30-$38/hour
    (based on experience)
Schedule
  • 2nd Shift
  • Monday-Friday
  • Overtime available
  • Perform complete setups on CNC lathe machines.
  • Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and edit G-code directly at the machine.
  • Load tooling, set work and tool offsets.
  • Prove out first articles and make program, tooling, and offset adjustments as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, setup sheets, and work instructions.
  • Inspect first-piece parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, work holding, cutter compensation, feeds and speeds, and program execution.
  • Produce tight-tolerance components while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • 5+ years of complex CNC lathe setup experience.
  • Fluent in G-code with the ability to confidently read, troubleshoot, and edit programs at the machine.
  • Experience loading tooling, setting work and tool offsets, and proving out new jobs.
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Experience performing first article inspections and making setup modifications.
  • Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Experience machining aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor, or other tight-tolerance components is highly preferred.
