** Position Overview*
* We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
** Assembly Technician
** to join our team in Santa Clara. This position is responsible for assembling, electrically testing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and performing quality control on electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, can read and follow schematics and detailed work instructions, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. Assembly experience is preferred, particularly in an electromechanical environment.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, and work instructions.
+ Assemble electromechanical products and sub-assemblies according to established procedures.
+ Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and quality control.
+ Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment.
+ Work with tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, multimeters, and HiPot testers.
+ Perform wire cutting, unpacking, repacking, and other assembly-related tasks.
+ Calculate required parameters and test finished products according to established instructions.
+ Verify quantities and products against work orders.
+ Properly package completed products for shipment.
+ Inspect incoming parts for dimensional, geometrical, tolerance, and visual requirements.
+ Identify, document, and control non-conforming materials.
+ Receive incoming materials from vendors, customers, and other warehouses.
+ Assist with inventory management and material handling.
+ Support ISO certification requirements, documentation, audits, and annual training.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
** Qualifications*
* ** Required*
* + High school diploma or GED.
+
** 1+ year of experience in assembly, quality control, or inventory management.*
* + Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read and understand work instructions, schematics, and bills of material.
+ Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft products and warehouse management systems.
+ Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
+ Effective communication and teamwork skills.
+ Ability to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work overtime as required.
** Preferred*
* + Technical school or technical training.
+ Electromechanical assembly experience.
+
Experience with electrical testing or troubleshooting.
+ Warehouse, packaging, or material-handling experience.
+ PIT or forklift experience.
** Physical & Safety Requirements*

** Steel-toed work boots are required.*
* + Must be able to walk and move throughout the work area frequently.
+ Must be comfortable using hands for assembly, tools, equipment, and computer work.
+ Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance.
+ Must be able to frequently handle materials weighing up to
** 50 pounds** .
+ Occasional exposure to electrical hazards and potentially dangerous equipment.
+ Must follow all safety procedures when working with electrical testing equipment and machinery.
