Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)
Schedule: Friday – Sunday, 8 p.m. – 8 a.m.
Location: Schertz, TX
Position Types: Full‑time, part‑time, or PRN with flexible scheduling and 24/7 local support.
Role Overview: Provide private‑duty nursing care in patients’ homes. Responsibilities include feeding‑tube care, tracheostomy and ventilator management, medication administration, and other clinical duties as trained.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
- Performs feeding‑tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care as needed.
- Document patient progress electronically using the company tablet system.
- Collaborate with the Aveanna clinical team and local support operators.
- Provide compassionate care and maintain clinical outcomes for children and adults.
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in Texas (or state of practice).
- If holding a compact license, it must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
- Current CPR certification with hands‑on component (Aveanna can assist after hire).
- Current TB skin test within the last 12 months.
- Six months of hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to patients’ homes.
