We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Santa Clara, California. This role offers the chance to support a busy oncology practice while working alongside physicians, RNs, and LVNs in a patient-focused environment. Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM - Shifts per Week: 5

Approximately 10-15 patients per day, with 2-4 seen in person in the infusion center - EMR:
Epic
- At least 1 year of Oncology Nurse Practitioner experience required
- Board Certification in Oncology or Hematology required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license preferred; licensing candidates will be considered
- Fluoroscopy experience preferred
- Vaccination preferred; waivers may be considered
- Provide oncology support in both clinic and infusion center environments
- Manage blood work, IV-related care, hydration, medication orders, and chemotherapy orders
- Respond to patient calls and address clinical questions in a timely manner
- Assist with infusion center patient needs while collaborating closely with nursing staff
- Perform infusion triage, in-basket coverage, and emergency room triaging support as needed
- Evaluate and assist patients presenting in person within the infusion center
- Collaborate with oncologists, RNs, and LVNs to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document accurately and efficiently within Epic
