Job Summary And Responsibilities

Performs functions associated with quality control operations, including inspections, tests, and evaluations of products, materials, and processes to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. Works with engineers in set-up, maintenance and calibration tasks to verify accuracy of inspection equipment and measurement tools. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality control processes.

This job family is in the professional level category and works independently with flexibility and authority over daily work priorities. Incumbents in this job level category may provide work direction to other employees but would not typically have the authority to discipline or reward other employees. There are different levels available that provide clarity on contribution expectations based on knowledge, application, problem solving, and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma, equivalent skilled trades, apprenticeships or equivalent education. Requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.
