NVIDIA is looking for an experienced senior manager to lead a team of PCBA factory Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in the North America region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of our complex AI systems. Your primary responsibility will be to represent all aspects of NVIDIA’s AI hardware quality interests and to lead a high‑performing team of Quality engineers.
You will work with teams such as hardware engineering, product engineering, product quality engineering, supplier and commodity management to raise the supplier’s quality bar and to drive continuous improvements in a diverse and collaborative environment.
What you will be doing- Manage a team of experienced quality engineers to bring up and manage NVIDIA’s manufacturing sites.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with NVIDIA’s unique Quality standards.
- Manage manufacturing partners’ quality performance through audits, critical metric management, and Q /QQRs.
- Lead complex quality excursion management and new site/supplier qualification.
- Cooperate with internal teams, including process, assembly, test, reliability, and customer quality as the main factory quality interface.
- Develop quality management strategy and identify risks in early product phases.
- Drive global quality process harmonization and cross‑functional/cross‑site initiatives.
- MS degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a related engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ overall years of quality engineering experience of which 5+ years as a people manager.
- Extensive experience in large‑volume PCBA, tray, and rack manufacturing for datacenter/server/networking/liquid‑cooled AI products (L6-L11) either as an OEM or as a CSP.
- Practical experience in the effective use of core quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5‑Why, 6S, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma/Lean, MRB, Q ).
- Exemplary communication and proven problem‑solving skills, including data analytics, logical and statistical analysis, and oral presentation.
- Thrive in a fast‑moving, daring, and highly multi‑functional environment.
- Have tight‑knit collaboration experience and lead by example.
- A track record of strong ownership for complex quality issues with a bias for action.
- Experience with US‑based compute system manufacturing supply chains.
- Demonstrate high‑functioning, self‑motivated, self‑managed drive with a passion for innovative AI technology and manufacturing.
Base salary range is $208,000 – $327,750 USD, based on location, experience, and market. You will also be eligible for equity and a comprehensive benefits package.
