Job Title: Quality Inspector – Manufacturing & ISO Compliance (San Jose)

Location: San Jose, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay: $27.00/hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector in the San Jose metro area to support inspection, testing, and quality assurance efforts within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for ensuring materials and assemblies meet strict customer specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality benchmarks. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with inspection experience who have a strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality excellence.

Duties
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on materials and kits
  • Verify assemblies meet work instructions, engineering drawings, and customer specifications
  • Complete and audit assembly checklists for accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct final testing and confirm customer packaging requirements are met
  • Inspect inbound and outbound materials for condition, accuracy, and compliance
  • Document, tag, and segregate non-conforming materials per procedures
  • Initiate discrepancy reports and support corrective action processes
  • Maintain quality records, calibration logs, and support ISO audits
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or distribution environments
  • Prior inspection and/or quality control experience required
  • Quality certification required
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, conversions, basic algebra/geometry)
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems and process control tools preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
