Quality Control Technician

Our client, a leader in the bioprocessing equipment automation industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a vital member of the Quality department supporting the Bio Processing Equipment Automation / Single-Use Division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $33

What's the Job?

  • Perform incoming and in-process inspections on materials and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards
  • Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes to ensure precision and accuracy
  • Accurately document inspection results and material transactions in ERP systems following established procedures
  • Identify, document, and escalate nonconforming materials in a timely manner, supporting Material Review Board (MRB) activities
  • Collaborate effectively with manufacturing, purchasing, and quality engineering teams to address quality issues and support process improvements

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection and manufacturing assembly or an equivalent role
  • Associate of Science degree or a technology-related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficiency with inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Experience using ERP and PLM systems, with strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions
