Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, has an entry-level In-Process Quality Control Inspector positoin available. The selected candidate will monitor, inspect, and verify product quality during the manufacturing process. This role ensures that materials and in-process manufacturing meet established standards and specifications requirements before moving to the next stage of production.
Responsibilities- Utilizing a microscope, verify that products meet or exceed manufacturing guidelines.
- Record inspection results accurately in quality logs, travelers, and computer systems. Report non-conformances and deviations promptly to supervisors, production managers, and quality engineers. Maintain traceability of inspected products and materials. Perform First Article review.
- Work closely with production managers to identify and resolve quality issues. Provide feedback to operators and supervisors on corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- High School Diploma required; experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Flexible printed circuit board manufacturing experience desired.
- Work experience in cross section preparation and analysis desired.
- Familiarity with microscope and laboratory procedures in manufacturing environment helpful.
- Knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and measurement techniques desired.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications desired.
- Must know computer data entry and microscope operation.

Pay may range $18.00 to $19.00 hourly.
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
