About the RoleWe are a growing insurance agency seeking a motivated, self-driven professional to join our team as a Part-Time Licensed Sales and Account Manager.
This multifaceted role combines new business sales, client account management, office assistant/administrative support, and direct assistance to the agency owner. You'll help individuals and businesses secure essential Life & Health and Property & Casualty coverage, provide exceptional client service, and keep daily operations running smoothly while contributing to the agency's expansion.
The position begins part-time with flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability. Demonstrated success in sales, client service, administrative efficiency, and overall contribution will open the clear pathway to full-time employment—typically within the first year—allowing you to build a sustainable career with us.

Key Responsibilities- Prospect, qualify, and close new sales for Life & Health insurance (e.g., term life, whole life, health plans, Medicare) and Property & Casualty insurance (e.g., auto, home, renters, business, liability).
- Manage and service existing client accounts, including policy reviews, renewals, cross-selling/up-selling, and addressing client needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional, personalized service and advice.
- Conduct thorough needs analyses and recommend compliant, tailored insurance solutions.
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally; direct or respond to client questions, provide basic policy information, and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Perform office assistant duties, including data entry, updating client records and databases, filing/scanning documents, processing paperwork, preparing certificates of insurance or basic endorsements, and maintaining organized files.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, client follow-ups, meetings, and agency events.
- Support daily office operations: sort and distribute mail/emails, order and manage office supplies, track basic expenses, and ensure the office environment remains efficient and professional.
- Assist the agency owner with administrative tasks, marketing initiatives, lead follow-up, report preparation, and other operational activities to support growth.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and full compliance with all regulations.
- Stay informed on insurance products, industry developments, and regulatory updates.
- Actively generate leads through networking, referrals, outreach, and other business development efforts.
- Must hold (or be able and committed to obtaining within 90 days of hire) active Life & Health and Property & Casualty insurance licenses in California (or reciprocal states). Licensing support available if needed.
- Strong self-starter mentality with high self-motivation, initiative, and a "do what it takes" attitude.
