** Security Officer - Day Shift Patrol Driver

** Santa Clara, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will also complete vehicle patrols and detailed reports while providing exceptional customer service and communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes, with working conditions varying by location.

+ Monitor access points and key areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report concerns according to post orders.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite contacts and/or public responders when needed.

+ Complete thorough reports and logs for patrol activity, incidents, and shift events, and communicate updates to the appropriate personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 21+ years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
