** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control, observe guest activity, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized persons.

+ Assist with closing procedures, crowd management, and/or customer assistance during peak business hours, special events, and emergency situations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
