Security Officer Experienced Patrol Agent in Santa Clara, CA

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support access control, crowd management, and/or closing procedures as needed while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
