Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $29.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon  07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
• Communicate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events, helping to support an orderly response to security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
