What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or property-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity to help support community rules, property expectations, and authorized entry procedures.
  • Assist with routine checks of doors, gates, lighting, and shared amenities to help identify hazards, damage, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
