About the Role
Security Professional – Retail Dispatch Driver in Santa Clara, CA. As a Dispatch Officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your responsibilities include monitoring communications, coordinating responses to incidents, and supporting on‑site teams with clear and timely information sharing. You will deter security incidents through a strong presence and exceptional customer service.
The role requires a valid driver’s license, as company vehicles may be operated.
- Mon: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Tue: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Fri: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Sat: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Sun: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Use the proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
- Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.
- Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security‑related personnel and resources.
- Receive and document calls for service, incidents, and emergencies, relaying information to appropriate team members and/or local authorities.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors, tenants, and staff with inquiries and security‑related requests.
- Coordinate with on‑site security personnel to deter unauthorized activities and respond to incidents calmly and problem‑solving.
- Support emergency response activities by communicating critical information and following site‑specific protocols.
- Assist with regular and random communication check‑ins with patrol teams about the business perimeter as required.
- Availability across various days and shifts.
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company.
- Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
