As a Security Officer Scheduled Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, residents, and guests.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Mon – 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Tue – 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Wed – 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Thur – 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Fri – 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, property rules, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting security‑related concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shopping areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor entrances, storefront corridors, and high‑traffic areas to help deter unauthorized activity, assist with access‑related concerns, and support a professional atmosphere at the location.
- Communicate with management, local contacts, and/or emergency responders as needed while following Allied Universal protocols and client‑directed post procedures.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
