As a Security Officer Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol in Santa Clara, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a luxury retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable presence while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $27.25 / Hour

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter spaces, noting conditions that may need attention.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through visible presence, attentive monitoring, and timely reporting of suspicious activity.
• Support opening and closing activities, assist with visitor and/or vendor access, and help maintain order during busy shopping periods or special events.

• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
