Job Summary

Your Career

As a Senior Staff Software UI/Frontend Engineer of the Prisma Browser team, you will collaborate with the product managers, UX designers, and UI engineers to design and deliver the most innovative solution that generates insights into our customers’ network security infrastructure and empowers the security administrators to do their best work.

You will lead engineering best practices, coach and mentor team members, architect, design, and implement application features, introduce new tools and libraries; and help solve the most challenging technical problems within the engineering UI team.

Your Impact

  • Passionate in building highly graphical and scalable web application features that give customers insights into their firewalls and provide actionable solution suggestions.
  • Work on complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of the requirements and apply engineering techniques to obtain quality results.
  • Identify problems and opportunities, propose and develop simple and attainable solutions to improve the team’s development process and product quality.
  • Be the role model in establishing and implementing engineering best practices, including test‑driven development.
  • Drive collaborative discussion and create synergy among product feature stakeholders to create an amazing product.
Qualifications

Your Experience

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of related programming experience required
  • Expertise in building web‑based GUI development with excellent React 18+, Type Script, and JavaScript programming skills.
  • Experienced in modern web frameworks and build tools such as Core UI, Redux, Tanstack Queries, Tanstack React Form, Vite, and Storybook.
  • Experience with Material UI, CSS/SCSS, AG Grid, and visualization libraries such as Highcharts, D3.js, E‑charts.
  • Experience with creating responsive web applications
  • Ability to work well with a group of senior and junior engineers in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
  • Experience with UI test frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Vitest, React‑testing‑library, Mocha
  • Experience with client‑side modern build tools, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Git Version Control (Git Lab) and Linux environments.
  • Good grasp of asynchronous programming.
  • Can‑do attitude on problem‑solving, quality, and ability to execute
  • Highly experienced in web application debugging and root‑cause analysis (Sentry/Datadog).
  • Knack for simple and intuitive Data Visualizations for impactful storytelling.

Nice to haves

  • Able to troubleshoot system‑level integration and performance issues.
  • Git Hub portfolio or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with micro frontend architecture patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with containerizing applications with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase is a plus.
  • Experience working with Canvas & SVG is a plus.
  • Experience with Puppeteer for PDF generation is a plus.
