Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a maverick Android OS Specialist to join our growing team:
Responsibilities- Working on the full Android software stack, from underlying hardware, kernel, NDK from and frameworks. Developing cutting‑edge solutions and OS optimizations to improve the performance and quality of user experiences in an automotive embedded environment (virtual or native).
- Integrate Android applications into the automotive infotainment system.
- Integrating the Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications into the embedded system.
- Collaborating with diversified team of designers, hardware engineers, computer vision and machine learning researchers.
Industry background:
- 5+ years of experience in C/C++/Java
- Experience with building and customizing Android OS and apps
- Experience with Android NDK
- Familiar with advanced debugging techniques under Android
- Experience with kernel development, Linux OS development
- Experience with Android OS architecture, Android system services, System UI and APIs
- Experience with multi‑threaded software design, unit tests and testable code
Knowledge and skills:
- Strong record of innovation demonstrated through patents, papers or products
- Experience with virtualization environment
- Experience with version control tools such as Perforce, REPO, GIT
- Experience with embedded system environment and/or automotive
- A passion for exploring the new frontiers including computer vision, machine learning, virtual reality and augmented reality
Education / Training:
- Bachelor in Computer Science/Embedded Software/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 5+ years of work experience
- Strong presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills; fun, outgoing and easy to work with
- Self-starter able to operate with minimal supervision to achieve objectives
