Senior Firmware Engineer - Memory Subsystem

We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer for our Memory Subsystem Team.

• Firmware development for NVLINK‑C2C, validation and debugging of firmware and silicon bring‑up for NVIDIA products.
• Work on Boot architecture and security aspects of NVLink‑C2C interfaces.
• Create architectural specifications for micro‑controllers/processors used for boot and run‑time functions.
• Plan and implement NVLINK‑C2C interfaces, conduct validation and enable features on NVIDIA products.
• Implement low‑power states, RAS, and telemetry functions.
• Leverage expertise in digital/analog systems, computer architecture, and debugging to solve complex problems.
• Refine interface bring‑up and validation strategy.

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with a focus in embedded systems.
• 6+ years of proven experience in Boot architecture and firmware design.
• Excellent RTL and digital design skills.
• Experience with high‑speed IO interface is a plus.
• Strong coding skills in C, C++ and Python.
• Good understanding of data structures.
• Knowledge of ASIL process and flow is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of PC systems, Windows OS, and Linux.
• Excellent debugging skills with the ability to decompose problems based on first principles.
• Good collaboration and cross‑disciplinary teamwork skills.
• Comfortable assuming varied responsibilities over the life of a product.

• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Perl.
• Experience with embedded firmware.
• Deep understanding of technology and passion for the work.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in a dynamic matrix environment.

• Base salary range:
  Level4 — $184,000 to $287,500;
  Level5 — $224,000 to $356,500.
