NVIDIA is seeking a top‑tier Software Test Manager to join the NVIDIA‑Cumulus Linux Verification Engineering Team. The role manages verification engineers, leads requirements and design reviews, develops test plans and execution, and builds automation for testing features in NVIDIA‑Cumulus Linux.
What you’ll be doing- Managing the NVIDIA Cumulus Linux Verification team members.
- Ensuring features are delivered on time and exceed expectations.
- Guiding team members in career development plans and goal setting.
- Assisting junior members when they encounter technical roadblocks.
- Analyzing customer‑found defects, identifying test gaps, and ensuring regression coverage.
- Conducting functional testing of Layer‑2 and Layer‑3 features of NVIDIA Ethernet Switch systems running NVIDIA‑Cumulus Linux.
- Building and maintaining automation to ensure quality via continuous functional regression.
- Collaborating with design and other internal engineering groups to identify, report, and resolve testing issues.
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Engineering.
- 2+ years of management experience with a team of 5+ engineers.
- Excellent communication, leadership, people‑management, and technical presentation skills.
- Strong technical abilities in problem‑solving, design, coding, and debugging.
- Hands‑on experience with Layer‑2 and Layer‑3 protocols such as MLAG, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, etc.
- Experience using test tools from Ixia or Spirent and test‑management tools.
- Strong skills in Python or other scripting languages.
- Good experience working on Unix or Linux‑based operating systems.
- Flexibility to work across time zones.
- Experience spanning the entire system, including data forwarding, Linux kernel networking, and system software.
- Significant experience in the data‑center environment and with cloud‑native concepts.
- Knowledge of building or maintaining automation infrastructure.
- Experience with CI methodology and tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
Competitive salaries and a generous benefits package are offered, including equity. Base salary ranges are $224,000–$356,500 for Level3 and $272,000–$431,250 for Level
4.
