Senior Manager, Software Engineering | Santa Clara, CA Office

Responsibilities

• Encourage, empower, lead, and handle a team of outstanding developers that craft and develop products for both on‑prem and SaaS offerings.
• Define product requirements with department stakeholders and oversee end‑to‑end delivery—from building and testing to deployment.
• Drive thought leadership and innovation to accelerate high‑quality software development.
• Mentor, lead, and grow engineers on the team.
• Set clear goals and lead collaborative achievements.
• Work closely with product management, program management, sales, QA, and support to deliver high‑quality products and guide the product vision and roadmap.
• Contribute to the data platform that serves as the foundation for various on‑prem and cloud products.
• Execute product requirements, build, test, and deploy for on‑prem, cloud, BaaS/DMaaS support.
• Understand market dynamics to steer product direction and execution.

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
• 12+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience, including planning, architecting, and delivering high‑quality products.
• 5+ years building, handling, or leading high‑performance software development teams.
• Knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies.
• Previous experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
• Excellent coding and design skills.
• Domain expertise in Distributed systems, Storage, File systems, Security, Data Management, AI/ML, and SaaS.
