Senior Teamcenter Developer; PLM & GenAI

Role Overview

As a Senior Teamcenter Developer, you will sit at the intersection of enterprise PLM, software architecture, and Generative AI. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying integrations that combine Siemens Teamcenter with advanced AI models. This role focuses on automating engineering workflows, streamlining BOM management, and developing agentic AI solutions that boost productivity.

• Teamcenter Customization & Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom Teamcenter solutions, workflows, and extensions (ITK, RAC, SOA, AWC) to support complex semiconductor engineering needs.
• GenAI Integration: Spearhead the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to automate product design data analysis, intelligent search, and documentation.
• Agentic AI Workflows: Build proof‑of‑concept AI agents that autonomously query PLM data, generate engineering reports, and assist in cross‑functional review processes.

  Partner with global cross‑functional stakeholders (R&D, supply chain, IT) to translate business requirements into technical PLM/AI solutions.
• System Upgrades & Governance: Lead end-to‑end implementation of PLM upgrades, ensuring system scalability, security, and adherence to GIS standards.

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Teamcenter Expertise: 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing within the Siemens Teamcenter environment (Active Workspace, BMIDE, Workflow Designer, and SOA/C++ customization).
• GenAI / ML

  Proven track record of working with AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Lang Chain, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs) and a strong understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), or agentic AI patterns.

  Advanced proficiency in Java, C++, Python, and PLM‑specific scripting languages.
• Industry Acumen: Experience in semiconductor, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing PLM processes.
