** About the Team:*
* You will be a part of a dynamic and growing team within applied materials which creates software and algorithms to improve our products.

* Role Responsibilities:

*
* + Design and develop software which is well integrated with Applied Material tools

+ You software is expected to add to the value of our tools by providing essential and exceptional features to our engineers.

+ Develop software documentation and test procedures

+ Troubleshoot a variety of difficult software problems. Design and implement bug fixes

+ Define software specifications and test plans for simulators, test benches or the lab

+ Communicate with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project schedule and software troubleshooting

** Problem Solving*
* + Leads others to solve complex reliability problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions

+ You will work on complex and large pre-existing codebase. You are expected to make improvements without impacting the codebase.

+ You will be required to create new software. You are expected to use known design principles and ensure long-term scaling of your software.

** Interpersonal Skills*
* + Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view

* Preferred Qualifications:

* + Master's degree in a related field  

+ Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, and how your area of expertise integrates with others

* + Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, computer science, information management, software/system engineering, cyber security or mathematics

+ 4-7 years of related experience

+ Proficiency and experience in .Net, C#, C++, React, Python, SQL, Network Communication, MSBuild, etc.
