We are seeking an outstanding engineer to shape the future of XR and Robotics. You will work on hard problems, advance teleoperation and data collection for robotics with spatial computing technologies, and lead the scale of NVIDIA’s XR and Robotics efforts.
What You’ll Be Doing- Develop human‑centric data collection and teleoperation systems using XR devices and peripherals, customizing them for partner needs and use cases to drive adoption of our tech stacks and support partner onboarding.
- Create integration designs for partners according to our architecture, and write documentation and sample code for accelerated onboarding.
- Follow up with partners on technical feedback and adoption design choices.
- Review partner code contributions to our OSS repositories for quality control and drive closure.
- Manage partner feature requests and feedback/bug intake, triage issues, and resolve high‑priority partner bugs promptly.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across NVIDIA, such as solution architecture and developer relations.
- Engage in cross‑platform development in C++ and Python, and provide technical advice to partners to unblock tooling and cross‑platform issues.
- Explore core technologies behind Cloud
XR, Omniverse, and the NVIDIA Isaac platform to optimize performance, reduce latency, and improve teleoperation and data collection efficiency for high‑priority partners and use cases.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- 6+ years of XR/Robotics related experience, solving real‑world problems in robotics, AI, distributed systems, media streaming, or networking.
- Experience with large‑scale code bases/projects, delivering developer‑facing SDKs and documentation.
- Experience supporting external partners with technical integrations and addressing partner issues.
- Understanding of business objectives, ability to articulate product roadmaps, and tailor solutions to customers based on product offerings and existing tech stacks.
- Willingness to travel for partner design workshops, onsite support, and trade shows or events.
- Proficiency with agentic development and adoption of AI tools for productivity.
- Phenomenal communication skills, teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with tele‑operation and data collection for robotics.
- Experience in XR development—augmented reality, virtual reality, or spatial computing across glasses, headsets, or smartphones.
- Background in GPU, frame‑rate, and latency optimization.
- Experience maintaining or contributing to large‑scale open source projects.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and comparable positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD – 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD – 356,500 USD for Level 5.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
