Senior Software Engineer

Cyber Ark @ Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer Software to join our Machine Identity Management team, focused on building frontend platform experiences that enable visibility and control of machine identities at scale.

In this role, you will design and develop modern, data-driven user interfaces that surface complex backend systems, workflows, and integrations in a clear and usable way. You will work closely with backend, platform, and product teams to build scalable frontend applications that support high-volume, data-intensive interactions.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building frontend applications on top of complex backend systems, with a focus on usability, performance, and reliability.

• Design and build frontend applications using modern frameworks (React, Type Script)
• Develop data-rich interfaces that visualize system state, workflows, and platform activity
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST or Graph
  
  QL APIs
• Contribute to frontend design and implementation, including state management and performance optimization
• Build reusable components and contribute to shared UI patterns
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, including performance and data handling challenges
• Contribute to improvements in development workflows, testing, and CI/CD

• 5+ years of frontend or full-stack software development experience
• Strong experience building frontend applications using React and Type Script
• Experience working with APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
• Experience building data-driven or workflow-based user interfaces
• Understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance considerations
• Ability to work across teams and contribute to delivering complex features

• Experience with Graph
  
  QL or modern API patterns
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with identity or authentication-related systems

The salary range for this position is $116,000 – $195,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
