We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Software Engineering Manager who has a passion for cultivating high‑impact engineering teams to support users and systems across our worldwide production environment. This role involves leading engineers who are responsible for developing scalable, reliable, enterprise software and services. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of automation, self‑service, and clear documentation and will own the full, end‑to‑end delivery of solutions including the core functions outlined below.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
- Lead and expand a team focused on designing and delivering high‑quality, scalable enterprise solutions to ensure seamless employee experiences.
- Design and implement agentic AI workflows using LLM‑based agents, tool calling, RAG patterns, and orchestration frameworks. Push the boundaries of what AI‑assisted operations can achieve.
- Build robust integrations and automation pipelines across Service Now, identity management, monitoring platforms, and enterprise SaaS. Own the full stack from infrastructure to user‑facing tools.
- Provide hands‑on technical guidance, including co‑authoring, reviewing, and shipping production code.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the team of engineers responsible for the design, build, and operation of enterprise‑grade software and solutions.
- Define and drive the multi‑quarter roadmap for automation and AI‑assisted operations and tooling.
- Plan and manage team execution, which includes project prioritization, milestone tracking, capacity planning, and ensuring on‑time delivery.
- Support key organizational activities, including hiring, performance management, and career development for the team.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of experience leading and managing high‑performing engineering teams.
- 12+ overall years of experience in Infrastructure, SRE, Dev Ops, or Production Engineering.
- Proven track record of building and scaling teams from the ground up in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
- Deep expertise in building software solutions and automation.
- Strong hands‑on skills with infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Pager Duty, or similar).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages for automation and tooling.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional ability to translate "deep tech" into business value.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 248,000 USD – 391,000 USD.
