Senior Software Developer

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Load Balancer team invites engineers to build and operate massively scalable, integrated cloud services within a distributed, multi‑tenant environment. This role requires hands‑on expertise in high‑availability and scalability for service‑oriented architectures.

• Design new features and systems for customers.
• Use Java and/or Python (preferred).
• Collaborate across teams to engineer optimal solutions for operations and customers.
• Debug, maintain, and improve existing systems, focusing on reducing operational burden and improving performance.
• Act as a generalist, diagnosing issues across the stack.
• Scale systems by developing tooling and automation.
• Work with partner teams outside the organization.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to support customers.

Open to engineers at any level, with a strong coding background and familiarity with distributed systems. Candidates should be adaptable, self‑motivated, and able to learn quickly.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles varying by location. Hiring range for the U.S.: $79,200 – $209,500 per year, with potential bonus and equity.
