Urgent position of Python Developer (Only Local)
Location – Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong Django experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in backend development, RESTful APIs, database design, and performance optimization. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and Dev Ops teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django
- Build and consume RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF)
- Develop database schemas and write optimized queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Integrate frontend elements with server‑side logic
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented code
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and refine requirements
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
- Assist in deployment and maintenance of applications in cloud environments
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands‑on experience with Django / Django REST Framework
- Solid understanding of MVC/MVT architecture
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth/JWT authentication
- Familiarity with Git / version control systems
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
- Experience with Linux/Unix environment
- Good problem‑solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Docker & CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
