Embedded Software Engineer - RISCV

Responsibilities

• Define, design, develop and verify features for next‑generation RISCV controllers on our GPU; collaborate with hardware engineers and fellow software engineers.
• Follow the devices through the development process to customer desktops, notebooks, workstations and gaming consoles worldwide.
• Engage in early modeling and simulation to produce world‑class products.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams across the globe.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of meaningful software development experience, especially with embedded systems.
• Hands‑on technical background; excellent C programming and embedded device‑driver development experience.
• Familiarity with computer‑system architecture, microprocessor and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.).

• Familiarity with the RISCV architecture.
• Experience with the inner workings of tool chains such as gcc and gdb.
• Background with embedded‑system software concepts, such as RTOS and overlay programming models.
• Experience with simulation, emulation and hardware development cycles.
• Strong documentation skills and effective communication ability.

Base salary range: 184,000‑287,500 USD for Level4, 224,000‑356,500 USD for Level
5. Eligibility for equity and benefits.
