Applied Research Intern, NLP - Fall

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and prototype new algorithms and models for AI model post‑training.
• Contribute to open‑source projects such as NeMo‑RL and the next version of Nemotron models.
• Publish your internship project results.

• Pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Masters students with a strong publication record will also be considered.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Strong knowledge in Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing.
• Experience with PyTorch or JAX.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage large sets of experiments.

• Contribution to open‑source projects. Please include links to your OSS contributions.

The internship hourly rate ranges from 20 USD to 71 USD, based on position, location, year in school, degree, and experience. Interns are also eligible for standard intern benefits.
