Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer in our cloud computing team, you will be at the foundation of resiliency technology, building software that empowers engineering teams to develop and deliver high quality public cloud. The results of your work will have an impact on more than 1000+ developers. We are creating a team of highly skilled engineers capable of performing tasks at any level of our technical stack.

Able to participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback to clarify requirements. Someone who likes to research new technology & development tools and can execute on mini-research/prototype projects that solve a new or existing problems. A self-motivated learner who can contribute ideas for continually improving the cloud resiliency and code quality. Able to thrive in a fast paced, high energy and fun work environment that is agile & deliver value incrementally and frequently.

Able to collaborate with peers, engineering managers, and principal engineers on technical designs and implementation of new applications.

Qualifications:

B.A./B.Sc. in computer science or information systems Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Experience with general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Docker/Container Knowledge of Open Stack & Open Source Familiarity with public cloud & distributed systems is a plus Ability to program in GO is a plus Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Presenting resiliency ideas for cloud improvements Working closely with architects, designers and staff Producing specifications and writing the program codes Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live Maintaining the applications once they are deployed
