Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

Our team comprises a diverse range of backgrounds, including applied machine learning engineers with a focus on ML and LLM, and experienced distributed systems engineers. As such, we are seeking candidates with applied machine learning experience and strong software engineering skills.

Description

Leverage and enhance the latest advancements in machine learning and software engineering to effectively contribute to the successful delivery of generative experiences. Develop world-class evaluation techniques to ensure the accurate measurement and calibration of model responses. Collaborate with diverse teams, including infrastructure, quality, data, product, and design, to develop innovative features and contribute to the creation of an exceptional search experience for our end-users.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science or related field or equivalent work experience

6+ years of industry related experience, working in collaborative environments

Experience with using:
PyTorch, Tensor Flow, or JAX for training and deploying deep learning models

Understanding product requirements then translating them into modeling tasks and engineering tasks

Proficient in at least two programming languages such as: C/C++, Go, Python, Java

Preferred Qualifications

Masters or PhD in the area of Computer Science or equivalent, or a related

Knowledge and prior experience with some deep learning and GenAI frameworks are desired.

Building machine-learned models for search relevance ranking query understanding and questioning

Prior experience in consumer facing product is desired
