We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Multimedia & Safety Software Engineer to support the Ok2

Book Proof of Concept on the AMD iRDK platform. The ideal candidate will lead the integration and validation of safety monitoring subsystems while driving the bring-up and optimization of camera and audio multimedia stacks for automotive-grade applications.

This role requires strong expertise in embedded Linux, multimedia frameworks, safety-critical software development, and hardware-software integration within automotive environments.

Your Role Integrate and validate safety monitor subsystem on AMD iRDK platform (watchdog, error detection, FTTI)
Own camera subsystem bringup: MIPI CSI-2, ISP integration, V4L2, camera HAL, frame capture validation

Own audio subsystem bringup: codec integration, ALSA, audio HAL, latency measurement

Interface with AMD on safety and multimedia driver support

Validate ISO 26262-aware safety mechanisms against Ok2

Book acceptance criteria

Document multimedia and safety bring-up state for program gate review

Your skills and experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field7+ years' experience in Embedded Software Development Camera bringup: MIPI CSI-2, V4L2 driver stack, ISP integration, Camera HALAudio bringup: ALSA, audio HAL, codec integration (I2S, Sound Wire, HDMI ARC)
Safety subsystem integration: watchdog, health monitors, ASIL-aware SW development

Linux kernel, multimedia frameworks (GStreamer, camera2 API)
C/C++, Python/Rust The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$68,911 - $161,544/Year Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
