Warehouse Associate

Description We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Santa Clara, California. This is a contract position that involves coordinating logistics and warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The role offers hands-on training and an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.

- Update inventory records and purchase orders using Net Suite or similar accounting systems.

- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and organize packages.

- Deliver packages to designated locations using company trucks, adhering to safety and driving regulations.

- Prepare goods for shipment by strapping, wrapping, and organizing items efficiently.

- Communicate daily activities and updates to the warehouse manager and shipping supervisor.

- Maintain cleanliness and order within the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols.

- Assist with  and documentation for shipping and receiving processes.

- Participate in training sessions to familiarize yourself with company systems and procedures.

- Support general warehouse tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations. Requirements - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse or shipping/receiving roles.

- Clean driving record with demonstrated experience operating larger trucks.

- Ability to lift and move packages safely and efficiently.

- Forklift operation experience and a valid driver's license are required.

- Familiarity with inventory systems like Net Suite or willingness to learn.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Attention to detail and commitment to following safety regulations.

- Proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes. Talent Match®
