This position is 100% on site in Santa Clara, CA. The shift is a A side Day (Sun‑Tues with every other WED). 12‑hour shifts, 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Pay rate ranges from $24.23‑$30/hr based on qualifications and experience.
OverviewThe Logistics Technician supports day‑to‑day material handling and inventory operations within the data center. This role ensures accurate tracking, receiving, storage, and distribution of equipment and supplies required for data center operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, including servers, components, and general supplies.
- Process outgoing shipments and coordinate with carriers as needed.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas and update inventory management systems.
- Deliver parts and materials to internal teams (technical operations, server technicians, etc.).
- Assist with asset tagging, labeling, and documenting equipment movement.
- Follow established safety, security, and handling procedures.
- Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation.
- Operate material‑handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of logistics, warehouse, or inventory experience.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory systems.
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs, move equipment, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in a data center, warehouse, or technical environment.
- Familiarity with asset management tools.
- Forklift or equipment‑handling certification.
- Primarily on‑site in a secure data center facility.
- Requires adherence to safety and security protocols.
- May involve shift or weekend work depending on operational needs.
